    How'ya.

I've got a problem with both lower legs and its in the shin region in both legs, but not dead in the middle - the pain is slightly to the left on my right leg and slightly to the right on my left leg.

I first felt it 2-3 weeks ago but ignored it hoping it'd go away, then I played Astro football on it and its since gotten worse and seems to get worse when I jog on it.

I love my football on a Monday nights and this injury is keeping me out of it so if I absolutely have to I'll find the money to go to a physio but in the meantime perhaps one of you could speculate on whether or not its shin splints.

    Cheers lads.

I done some of my own research on what could it be btw but then nearly pooed myself when I saw stuff about blood clots etc.

So I'm hoping for a neutral input.

Unlikely that you'd get blood clots in the exact same place in both legs. Go to physio it's impossible for us to tell, especially with that description.

And we're not allowed give medical advice and such like.

It sounds more than likely OP. Do a 'Search This Forum' for a number of related threads.

    What does OP stand for?

    Cheers.

Just figured out its more than likely stands for 'operation', which is terrible news if you're right.

I'm expecting a call from a physio this evening (hopefully) so we'll have a good chat and see what the craic is.

    Cheers.

This is why you dont use the internet to diagnose anything (and why you wont get medical advice here). Wait for your physio, please, before you convince yourself your leg is about to fall off!

So what you're saying is I've got a brain tumour?

    Can't believe I'm gonna die I'm only 23 :(

Got roped into making an appointment, but it sounds like Shin Splints according to her.

You can close this or delete if you want.

    Cheers.
