    Hello,

Hopefully someone can advise me here?

I need a to get my car from Cork to Belfast, left there for 3 weeks and then back again to Cork?

I was going to drive it to Belfast, collect a rental from Belfast bring it back to Cork and use it for 3 weeks and then drive it back to Belfast and drive my own car home, but this is coming in around 420 euro for rental alone!

I can't get a courtesty car, is there any other way I can get a car to Belfast and back or any advice please?

    Thanks.

You could get the car transported on a truck but I would not imagine it to be too cheap, maybe worth lookiing at!

No flights from ROI to or from Belfast (which I was surprised at) and the train is 6 hours and 80 odd euro one way, so trying to avoid that!

I've tried a crowd called NVD to transfer with truck, so awaiting a quote but I'm guessing it'll be huge?

Think I'll have to go with what I originally thought just wondered if I overlooked anything.

    Thanks

It shouldn't be too bad with NVD, put a call in to Crosbies as well - 021 4506322 - http://crosbietranscar.com/.

I'm not sure who does Nissan's tranpsortation, but I think it might be NVD. They'd probably be the quickest option as it looks like all the Nissan's come in to NI and then down to Dublin (always see trucks loaded with Nissan's coming down the M1).

I presume the car is going in to a dealer in Belfast so that won't be an issue, but you'll need to make sure wherever it's being picked up from in Cork is suitable for a big car transporter to access.

If Crosbies can do it in a reasonable amount of time, you might be able to drop it across to them in Tivoli.
