Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Former world champion Veselin Topalov of Bulgaria (chess rating of 2768- basically stratospherically high) played a simultaneous against 4 Irish players in Dublin , Oct 3 2011.

    In a remarkable testament to the skill, tenacity and -to a certain extent- "rub of the green" the Irish team managed a 2-2 draw! A hugely impressive result for Irish chess against such a high level player.
