Saorview channels disappeared!

    Hi All,

Strange one here! I have had Saorview on my Samsung TV for last few months. Yesterday morning around 8.45, the digital channels disappeared. No bother, I thought, I'll just set up Auto tune running and they'll reappear.

Off I went, and to my dismay, TV tuned in 7 digital channels but all of them bar two are RTE Test cards. The only two channels are RTE news now & RTE NL.

    All radio stations are available.

I'm based in Straffan pointing to Kippure, I presume.

Any ideas oh great TV masses?

Looks like you are only receiving the test multiplex - Mux 2. Mux 1 carrying the regular channels could be down for maintenance.

    Give RTÉNL a call - 01 208 2259

    Thanks Cush

Just to finish this off in case anyone has same issue, rang RTE NL who were extremely helpful. Exactly as you suspected I was only receiving MUX 2. Problem traced to aerial being knocked out of alignment.

Realigned aerial and was back in business!
