Maynooth to Lansdowne Road

    Is there any special ticket i can buy that will pay for a train from Maynooth to Pearse and the Dart from there to Lansdowne, or do I have to buy two separate tickets?

    Also, what's the story with student fares? What kind of ID would I need?

    Nope. Just go to the ticket office/TVM in Maynooth and you get a normal ticket all the way there, including the transfer.
    Looking up the prices on their site: 
    Smart Card Single		€3.00
Adult Single			€3.40
Adult Day Return		€6.20
Adult 7 Day Rolling Rail	€27.60
Adult 3 Day Rolling Rail	€16.50
Child Single			€1.40
Child Day			€2.40
Schoolchild Single*		€0.47
Scholar Single			€1.45

    Heck (once) I've gotten a ticket from Dunboyne all the way out to Greystones.

    In addition to the above, student rail only and rail/bus tickets are available as follows:

    RAIL ONLY:
    Weekly Inner Short Hop - €20.10
    Unlimited rail travel Sunday to Saturday within the area bounded by Rush & Lusk, Bray, Hazelhatch, Maynooth and M3 Parkway

    Weekly Short Hop - €23.20
    Unlimited rail travel Sunday to Saturday within the area bounded by Balbriggan, Kilcoole, Hazelhatch, Maynooth and M3 Parkway

    Monthly Short Hop - €76.00
    Unlimited rail travel for a calendar month within the area bounded by Balbriggan, Kilcoole, Hazelhatch, Maynooth and M3 Parkway

    BUS & RAIL
    Monthly Short Hop - €96.00
    Unlimited railtravel for a calendar month within the area bounded by Balbriggan, Kilcoole, Hazelhatch, Maynooth and M3 Parkway and all Dublin Bus services

    For each of these you will need the Student Travelcard that can be purchased via http://www.studenttravelcard.ie/index.aspx.

    Your normal college ID will not suffice.
