I've just got an email from jobs@mysteryshopper.ie

    Anyone come accross them?

Anyone currently doing any mytery shopping in the dublin area.

My wife signed up to one service but kept getting offered stuff in wicklow and kildare (we live in D.16) at 15 quid a pop. You have to spend 5 quid of your own cash which is not refunded, then you got to get there and back.

The best she was offered was for 5 shops in one day. But that was 75 quid less 25 for spending less another 15 for juice which meant 35 quid for a half day driving and shopping.....

Not great so didn't accept the offer

I worked for a company for a while during uni. It suited me as I was based in Cork City so could walk there. There usually was a set amount you had to spend but I normall just waited a couple of hours and then returned it if that was already required as part of the job.

However I did register with the company rather than grtting an email at random. I would be a bit wary giving my details.

Yeah, I had a look and the site doesn't exist (or its not active anyway).

it looks like a copy and paste job so i won't be replying to it anyway but might have a look around and see if there are any agencies that have vacancies for mystery shoppers.

I used to do it for a Uk firm abaresearch.

I used to do it mainly for Wallis, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins. I was also offered Argos.

As I said I was within walking distance of the shops and nearly always returned the item so I had little expenses. I it was about €15~25 mark.
