hey danny911, id recommend Goldstone Fitness to you if thats what your looking for. They are a new gym based in the six cross roads business park (opposite the RSA). They are only open a year since last week. Have to say their equipment is top notch and staff will give you great advice/programs plus ALL their classes are free for members. If you need any more details pm me, thanks

Well I don't find myself walking around industrial estates too often. And nope, I don't listen to the crap that is known as local radio.

Apologies if I offended you for not being aware of your gym.

I would prefer work out with the "tattooed people" then someone like you who judges on appearance. :)

My work place (away from Waterford) has got a gym, so i go there Mon-Fri.

Is there any pay as you go Gyms open after 6pm on Sat and Sun in Waterford........Kingfisher shuts @ 6pm on Sat & Sun.

Kingfisher is okay. I'm a member there since August and I wouldn't say I'm entirely happy with it but it's the most conveniently located gym for me and sure I've paid my membership fee already.

The facilities are good but between 6 and 10 the gym is jammers and the cardio machines seem to take it in turns to break down. You could wait 20 minutes to get onto any of the weights machines. Don't even bother going into the larger weights area unless you're built like a brick wall. There is a smaller weights area too.

The instructors are okay but to be honest I've been there 3 months now and I kind of expected a bit more of them. Today was the first time one of the instructors approached me to give a little constructive criticism of the way I was doing a particular move.

I don't know, maybe I just expected too much of the place on joining.

I've heard great things about Goldstone and the Educo Gym.
