Not sure if this is the right section...I have already posted this in an existing thread on the playstation section but I need to get it more exposure...

I bought a new 'fancy' HDMI cable for my ps3 to led tv...

    This is the cable:
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/PRO-GOLD-1-4a-HDMI-COMPATIBLE/dp/B002U38E9O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1316889947&sr=8-1

    This is the TV:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-UE32D6100-Widescreen-Internet-Freeview/dp/B004TB4W7I

So I had a HDMI cable and all was working fine. But I was convinced to upgrade. However since I got the new cable it won't work properly. When I first connect it up it displays nothing (says no source). I plug it out of TV and plug it back in and now it displays the main menu (xmb) of the ps3. Ok. So after this what happens is it works for a while and then the display just goes for no reason I can figure out. As I say it gives problems when first trying to get it to display and after that its a bit random at times as to when the display goes but quite often its when I'm 'transitioning' from one operation to another - for example going from being at the xmb to loading a game or leaving a game back to the xmb or going from xmb to loading up a dvd etc etc etc

Can anyone help me out please?? :)
