I hope this is ok to post here asking for a recommendation; if not, apologies.

I'm looking for someone in south Dublin (Dublin 18) to replace a gas boiler and install a radiator.
Has anyone used the Airtricity service for boiler replacement? Are their services reasonably priced compared with other independent gas fitters?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

I need to change my boiler also. Had a quote today to replace oil boiler for €2200. I rang around and got price just for the supply of new boiler for €850.
1350 I think is a crazy price for installation!
Boiler supplier <snip>, they were very helpful and they can give names of local installers. I don't have the contact details with me but you can find them on the web.

Folks you know the rules. All recs by PM only. However one word of advice to the poster..

www.rgii.ie will have a list of registered installers on it.

Boiler supplier is Frank L Fahey, Wexford, they were very helpful and they can give names of local installers. I don't have the contact details with me but you can find them on the web.

What boiler was that for €850? Was it an A rated boiler?

I doubt it at that price
Non condensing boilers cannot be fitted since April 2008
