Was doing some Farm releif work today near Naas for a M8 who rents a large areas of arable land - I was looking at this large flock of birds settle on stubble from a distance and assumed they were pigeons. When I got nearer in the jeep - I couldn't beleive it!!, they were all Mallard, over 200 of them!!. . I asked about the owners views on shooting/hunting etc. but turns out he considers the place a strict Game Santuary:( - Nice to see so many duck in the area anyways:)

Wish I saw that many. Only saw one duck all eve but still a great day shot my first bird, my one year old lab flushed a snipe and got his first retrieve so pretty pleased.
