Does anything happen to you when you tap your philtrum?

Four people in this household, with the following reactions when they tap their philtrum with their finger:

Person 1 - strange twitchy feeling across the eyebrows; a bit like very mild electric shocks.

Person 2 - similar feeling, but at the outer corners of the eyes.

Person 3 - similar feeling, but on the scalp, above and a bit back from the ears.

Person 4 - no reaction at all.

We're trying to work out if there's one weirdo in the house, or three. :D

Are you trying to kill us all?

    Copied from another site:-

Is the vertical indentation between the upper lip and nose. The term derives from the Greek word philein, to kiss - for the ancient Greeks believed this area was one of the most erogenous spots on the body. Both Hitler and Charlie Chaplin covered theirs with a moustache- - while, apparently, SAS officers can kill someone simply by tapping-their philtrum in a certain way.

This only works if you shoot them in the head at the same time.

So I wonder how many people around Ireland are tapping their upper lip right now and how many co-workers are giving them extremely strange looks as they do so.

How many people have just discovered they're not lone boardsies in their workplaces by looking around at all the philtrum-tappers?

    It does nothing for me.

Hey, does anyone else almost choke when they put a cotton bud in their ear?

Only when I get too close/push a bit too much to my eardrum. I love scratching my ears with cotton buds.

I couldn't feel anything when I kept tapping it. I've done it so much now to get a reaction that I now look a bit like Joaquin Phoenix.

    Damn you OP!
