A good deal further away from you but a good place to find churns etc. would be Purcell's in Birr, County Offaly who have monthly sales of collectables.

    Hi,

I am also looking for a stainless steel one, on wheels to carry water. Could you forward me on his number, the man at the sands car boot sale so that I could give him a ring to see if he has one.

    Thank you

You'd be probably better off with an old road tank, for carrying milk to creamery before the lorries came around to collect from farmers. A scan through the agri ads in buy and sell/done deal etc should throw up something, a lot of them are redundant now but fellas sometimes keep them as water bowsers.
