Media Player

    Hey all,
I'm trying to download a video from BBC onto my laptop but Windows Media Player won't open or play it. It says that the player doesn't recognise the extension (.ram), but that it might be able to play it, and asks for permission to continue. When I click ok though, I get the following "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.".I would have thought that a clip on the BBC website would have wide rcognition, but apparently not. Are there any other media players I could use that would open such a clip?

    Thanks in advance.

As far as I know BBC have IP code built into their videos meaning you can't look at them if you are outside the BBC licence fee area like the BBCi player.
