ring up and find out what condition it is in (be smart about this).

there was a time about two years ago, that emails went out to the 30 or so members to come up to the club on a wednesday night to rake bunkers and help take care of the course due to financial issues.

It used to be a fine track and I would hope that its been maintained to a high standard.

That wispy rough is a killer - be straight rather than long .. some of that rough is a wedge sideways IIRC

played today only managed 12 holes and didnt really enjoy it but that could have had something to do with the 50 mph winds and the rain! I can see why they are in trouble though its like a ghost town out there!

Yeah true and to think that when they 1st opened you could only play there if you were a resident in the hotel.
