Form 11 - short term enterprise allowance

Filling in my Form 11 online for 2010.

I was on the Short Term Enterprise Allowance for 9 months. Unlike the BWEA, this is taxable - I assume I enter that under "Other taxable Social Welfare Payments, Benefits or Pensions"?

Since it's a direct replacement for Jobseeker's benefit, I'm just wondering if it should go in the "llness / Occupational Injury / Jobseekers Benefits - Enter taxable amount" section instead.

I must have misread the STEA rules.

In case anyone else needs to know, Revenue just mailed me back to say that neither the Short Term Enterprise Allowance nor the Technical Assistance and Training fund payment that I got with it are taxable.

    Hi

    Dosen't sound right.

STEA is taxable except for the first €13 which is not taxable. Dont know about the technical assistance and training fund though.

I have often come across times when I have contacted revenue and they have told me incorrect information which I knew for a fact was wrong. So be warned.

    Kind Regards

    Dbran
