I recently reinstalled windows 7 on my machine and I have 2 HP laserjet printers connect via network cables, Since the reinstall the printers are just so slow to print, the green data light if flashing for ages and eventually a print, if I have a look at the whats printing the file size is massive, the pic below is for 2 color PDF pages

I have changed the option from Spooling print documents to Print directly to the printer with no difference

Using Win 7 Ultimate & the most current drivers.

Could it be my network slowing down everything ?, Would I be better off connecting via USB ?

    Any help appreciated
