Whats the quickest way of doing this? I'd rather do it in one journey if possible but dont mind walking a bit.

Not possible with one bus afaik but take any bus to city centre and get off at westmoreland street and go around the corner to aston quay and get the 145 at the very first bus stop on Aston quay to Heuston station.

145 Bus leaves from St. Stephen's Green North as far as I know, which is closer.

Well you could get a 68/68a outbound (towards Newcastle/Bulfin Rd respectively) - if you can find one :p, go all the way down the SCR, get off at the rear of James hospital just after Rialto, walk through the hospital onto James' St, down Steevens lane and there you are... bit of a roundabout route though :D

Depending on where on Camden Street (upper or lower) you're going from you might be better off walking down hatch street then lower hatch street and onto leeson street for the 145 rather than walking to the green.

you could get the 83 from Camden street, and either walk down to Heuston from Essex quay, or jump on the 145 then.
