is going to be a loooooonnnnnnnnnggggggggggggg week. Every time I have a moment to myself I can't help but think about this coming Saturday morning. The nerves are killing me. Thank Jesus that the RWC happens only once every 4 years - my brain can't take this!

    Anyone else feel the same?

Since the grand slam win in 09 I have found it very hard to anticipate a rugby game... I really dont know what it is but I just.. dont really care during the week before a game. I didnt watch much rugby nor participate in this forum in 10/11 due to personal stuff that took up all my time and since then I have found it very very hard to get excited for any sporting event anymore. I did however manage to attend a number of Irish internationals and Magners games in Thomond and even then it was the same thing.. no excitement.
This world cup has changed all that, I anticipate every single game no matter who is playing and have completely fecked up my sleeping schedule just to see every single one. I am absolutely frothing at the mouth for this game on saturday and its good to have that fire back in my heart for sport again.

    Thank you Sean O'Brien ;)

Sh!t myself everytime I think about it.

Every so often I allow myself to thoughts like that Carlsberg add from 2002 soccer world cup. You know the one...

Can't believe it's only Wednesday; I'm going to be a gibbering mess by the time Saturday morning rolls around.

If I don't think about it for a while it's ok, but good god if I start listing off the things that could go wrong I feel like I'm going insane. Far too excited. Four hours of rugby on Saturday! Fantastic.

I'm like a nervous child on Christmas eve. If we win the watching the other quarters will be very enjoyable but If we lose it will be almost unbearable

Waiting for this game is like playing against Sean O'Brien - You know it's coming and you're more nervous than you've ever been, the anticipation of it is unbearable.
