Hi guys sitting here with the other half talking about wedding cars and was wondering who normally books the wedding car herself or himself ? What kind of car have you booked and if so how much seems to be the going rate.We were looking at the Chrysler 300c coming in about €300 how does that compare to others. I was of the mind the car was last to be booked but some have told me it should be booked a year ago like the venue.

I wouldn't have thought that it's anyone in particular's job. We decided jointly what sort of car we wanted and both of us dealt with the car company at different points. We booked about a year in advance (for June next year) because there was a particular car that we wanted and the other one the company had was already gone for that date. €300 was about the going rate for a few places we checked out, but obviously you can pay a lot more than that if you want a "premium" car.

€320 we were quoted also in the galway area!

We used executivetaxis.ie. You get the luxury car, the suited driver, the ribbons and can choose with parts of the day you want to use them for. It cost us about half the price wedding car companies were charging.

You just don't get the 'complimentary' bubbly
