no sound on galaxy s

    Just bought a samsung galaxy s second hand and im getting no sound out the speakers when i use youtube or music player.

    i updated the firmware to the latest using kies and the problems persist. i noticed that my wifi password stayed saved after the update so im wondering if it could be another setting i missed that stayed after the update

    Or is there any switch on the phone that i might have missed?
