Hi there,

I'm pretty new to wordpress and would like to sort the following situation:

I have a website using wordpress as a CMS, I also have a blog on this website. As part of the redesign that I am doing, I would like to be able to have a section of the website where the latest blog post or a snippet there of, is displayed in a box on the homepage.

Anyone know a widget or plugin to achieve this?

Diceicle, it will depend on your theme. Go to theme options and see what modules it supports for front page.
