I've been thinking about house insurance over the past few days where, apart from the normal bits and pieces, I've spent a fortune on clothes and DVDs, so here's my question.............if your house was on fire, what DVD boxset would you save? Just the one!!!

I'd have to go with either The West Wing or Life on Mars!

    Discuss :D

That's a tough one. Maybe The Sopranos, or Only Fools (Doesn't matter how many times I've seen that it still cracks me up :))

my laptop would come with me, it contains a lot of obscure and hard to find shows and all my animated stuff. As much as I love my box sets they're all replaceable.

(as soon as I can afford my Golden Girls boxset this may change )

I'd probably save my ''Travels with Palin'' box set. My box set collection is small now since I transferred a lot of stuff over to my hard drives for easier storage.

I have most of my DVDs inside a few boxes, so I would grab them.

I'd do a big, wide blocking stance and bear hug my Dr.Who collection. I ain't got that much faith that UKTV Gold (whatever they're called now) replaying the whole of The War Games anytime soon.

I'd take all the David Attinborough stuff (life / living with mammals / there's one about the sea in there too), no matter how awesome the Wire / Sopranos / Band of Brothers / Breaking Bad / etc., there's no match for the visually stunning and just down-right captivating stuff that he has had a hand in making. Best hang over day is throw one of them on, and lie on the couch under a duvet with a tube of pringles and cup of tea for the day.

The Preston Front, great Comedy Drama that doesn't appear on Dave/UK Gold etc and unlikely they would ever bother.
