    Anyone know how much the current Iphone 4 is going to cost now sim free? Still up as €499 on the Apple website....hoping it has just not been updated yet? $99 in the States according to Apple's press conference.

    that price in the states is on a 2 year contract, the 8gb 4 is 499

    The iPhone 4 was never €499 on the Irish Apple Store. The 3GS was €499, the 4 was €599. The iPhone 4 you now see on the store is an 8GB version for a €100 less.

    There's no point in vulturing previous gen iphones. you're not going to see the recession busting bargain of the century coming from Apple of all places

    I went to buy one sim free and they wanted 579euro...nearly died!!!
