I have to fill out an online questionaire for boots. I hear they are quite hard to pass. Anybody do any before. Love to get some experience in a pharmacy.

Try get some experience in an independent or an Irish cahin. Plenty more opportunities out there with independents. I have yet to meet a happy Boots employee.

Whether it's true or not, for every question about team work or working independently, put team work every time.

I can't remember any of the rest of the questions I'm afraid, it's a few years since I filled one out

There are plenty of independent pharmacies in Scotland. Just because Boots have paid some charlatan professor to indoctrinate you in dispensing lectures doesn't mean they are the only option. Think long and hard before getting involved with that company.

Hey dude I'm in Strathclyde ere myself. I got one of my lecturers to do the questionnaire for me, she says i'm more or less guaranteed a place with them but she's a fair sound lecturer. Suggest you try and pull a stunt like that. It's fair handy if it works for me.

Have a look at these links. They are not conjecture, embittered anecdotes or biased personal opinion; they are plain facts.

Boots is making over a billion in profit, yet is still looking to cut pharmacists wages. Their ex-superintendent pharmacists, Steve Churton, was president of the RPSGB when the Responsible Pharmacist legislation was brought in, next time you chat to a pharmacist ask them what they think about it. He was also very enthusiastic about remote supervision, again ask a practicing pharmacist about this. You have to make your own decision about where you do your pre-reg, choose wisely as it will be the most important year of your training.
