i got eye laser surgery done in shandon street hospital in cork last march and had a couple of checkups since then but when i contacted them for another checkup i got no answer,so i went to the clinic and found all the doors closed.I asked a local next door and she told me they had closed down.they never contacted me to tell me that they were shutting down and as far as i am aware they never told any other patient. I tried another clinic to see if they could look at how my eyes are but they said the wouldnt take on a patient from another clinic.i would appreciate it if any one had suggestions on what i should do now.thanks.

Do you remember the name of the surgeon you had ?
I'd suggest looking him up and see if he's working with some other company now.

the best thing to do now is go to another eye clinic and see if they will take you on as a patient.I went to optilase in cork and told them what happened and they took me on as a patient. The one problem you might have is if you dont have your medical records from shandon street and you need surgery,it might be hard for a new clinic to give you more laser surgery if you dont have them.I tried to get my own records but unfortunetly i have reached a dead end.Its possible to get them but im not sure how. What you should do now is get a check up and make sure your eyes are okay.
