........This will scare you!!! If you're a fan of all things absolutely nuts, then this will cause a stir in yer jocks!

    http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/nissan-juke-r-nissan-gt-r-2011-10-04

Completely mental car, engine and running gear out of a GTR. Nuts.

I'd love to have it completely standard on the outside though, you would make a show of every car that ever pulled up beside you at the lights....

Now I'm off to see how cheap I can buy a crashed Juke shell and an RB26....

I'd love it purely as a sleeper, it'd have to have be as standard as possible on the outside.

    Hardly

They can't build them quick enough.

It's what we all said we wanted.........something that was good to drive and doesn't look like a bland box or like everything else on the road

We have only ourselves to blame........well not me I actually like it

    Hate Juke.

    However, Juke R WANT!!

Wouldn't you love to pull up next to a Civic boyo, arm on the door frame and nod at him and then nod at the lights. Hoody wearing fecker will laugh at you.

It would be like Hammond in Top Gear with the souped up Transit against the Aussies. :D

The Juke is so well designed it doesn't need all those spoilers and go faster bits - just those amazing black alloys!!!!!

Ah for feck sake lads, this thread isn't about the Juke's looks!

Ah for feck sake lads, this thread isn't about the Juke's looks!

Exactly. The Juke is being made because there is a demand by people for super minis which are eccentric and/or powerful.

    Mini JCW for example.

Male version of the female orientated car.

Nissan Ireland do not even list half the cars produced by Nissan and will likely never list this car for sale in Ireland. It is highly unlikely anybody in Ireland will buy one BUT that is not because it is not a good looking car. It is for many other reasons, one being the punishing factor our financial system has upon the motorist.

it is when you consider if you wanted something with a GT-R engine, you could buy a GT-R

    Sorry lad,

They can do what they like with it - but I will never, ever - not even as a passenger. Gimmee an Octavia any day. :)

It's not even about the engine.

It's about the complete madness of the idea in the first place. Who goes to work and says "I know, today I shall make a Juke GTR"?

I post a thread about an AWD car with a 3.6 V6 pushing 480bhp in a motors forum and we've had a reference to an Octavia and puke in two pages.

This place has really gone to the dogs lately. Seems to be full of insurance dodgers and people up on their high horses.

So much for being full of petrol heads.

While I do absolutely hate the Jukes looks, (it looks like a Micra glued on top of a Qashqai!!), I have to admit that it would make one hell of a sleeper if the external was left in standard guise.

But then again theres no need to get too excited just yet as theres only going to be 2 of them made, for now at least, might be a limited run of them if the demand is there.

the same person smoking enough crack to have come up with the juke in the first place ?

Probably someone like the guy that stuck an SR20DET into a Micra

Thread here recently about an Octavia VRS pupmped up out of reality - not a production car mind you but even still I don't see too many people buying a pupmed up Juke either - it's not their market.

    No need for that IMO!

I respect you and most other users on this forum. Personally I never do the high horse thing and it's mostly not regulars that do it either.

As for being a petrol head my two cars total 10.1L between them, 12.6 if you count the missus' legacy. I don't like the Juke - it's poxy god awful looking and you can jazz it up however you like it's still an ugly looking main stream weapon! ;)

Was only thinking about this earlier, I think the quasqai would be more interesting to stick a GT-R engine into, I think the transformation wouldn't look as gaudy
