Hi i am trying to portforward so i can set up my minecraft server
And i used the guide on the portforward site
    My router is NETOPIA 3347NWG
I added a custom NAT service for TDP and UDP
    And i enabled them both
And....I used their static ip application to get a static ip
And....I then used the port checker and it said it could not ping either service
And neither port was open/or not accessible
    And so...

The red blanks are ip addresses or advertisements

    Minecraft default port is 25565

And here is my ports set up

    Suggestions?

Just one obvious question - have you checked that there is no firewall on the PC itself that might be blocking the packets?

Is your device name sensitive? heh.

Anyway, you have to turn the firewall on the router to "low".

Well i have an antivirus but it doesn't seem to have a firewall
I set my firewall setting to low and my TCP port on 25565 is open, on another device
But my UDP is still closed
I can ping neither of them

    UPDATE:
Turning off my router firewall allowed me to Ping both TCP and UDP
Though it still says my UDP port is off...

Spent hours today wondering why my router wasn't forwarding port 80. Turns out I hadn't set the firewall to "low" :P Cheers for that!
