GROUP BUY: MVS Minibox Project - The results are in!

Today the shipment from our group buy arrived. The glorious MVS Miniboxes lovingly made by our man in Italy, Daniele.

I have to say, as far as a cardboard box goes, these are rather spectacular. The finish is precise, and the fit... snug! The stickers are professionally printed too, basic, but very functional. Everything was really well packed too and arrived just as Daniele said they would.

One thing to watch out for, as I found out on the very first box I made up (Prehistoric Isle 2), the tuck in corners are a touch on the delicate side, so be careful folding them in. They are sturdy, no probs, but if you make a mistake and don't fold the front in at the same time, it's really tough removing the side fold. So much so I tore one of the side flaps.

Doesn't bother me too much as it's only housing a bootleg cart and once made up it's barely visible as you can probably see in the photos.

One other thing, TAKE YOUR TIME aligning the stickers. Don't rush it.

Indeed they are rather snazzy when they are all made up. Looking good!

Looking forward to seeing some input from you guys on these when they arrive. Hopefully this group buy will inspire a few more Neo Geo collectors to go for some of these.
