You need about four and a half litres

You should buy a 5 litre container of it, Castrol only do 4 or 1 litre so this can work out expensive, go with Mobil and they have 5 litre drums of it.

For the plugs those should be fine. You could also consider Denso Iridium VK20Y, these will be original spec and will be most likely what was in the car from new as Toyota own Denso and they supply most parts for them. They are not cheap, £10 sterling a go or more, could be €20 here in some motor factors. Iridium plugs might give a touch better performance but should last a good 100k miles so in theory it should be the last set of plugs you need to put in to her if you were to go with them.

Depends wha you want, castrol would be a better grade oil, i would not haggle over a few euro when it comes to my car engine

cheers guys I dont mind spending a few bob on the service parts as il be doing the service myself so lot cheaper than taking it to a mechanic anyways and I did hear the more expensive plugs are good for 100k or so. someone told me that you must buy a genuine toyota oil filter though as other brands may clog up and starve the engine of oil. also I need new back brake pads will st202 pads fit as Im finding it hard to find pads for the s3 on ebay, thanks a mill for the help guys its apreciated :)

Castrol Magnatec 5w30 A1(Brand not really that important), would do fine for them if you want to put in better oil than 10w40 and not waste money.

An SS3 is an ST202 ;) All the non turbo ones were ST202, the GT4 being the ST205. The ST202 is the chassis code.

thats what I used in my yaris tsport but only because thats what it said to use in the logbook unfortunately I dont have the celica log book so im unsure what to use now 5w/30 or 10w/40 I did notice the engine was a lot quieter when I changed the oil in the yaris

It certainly wouldn't do any harm to use it in the Celica anyway.

    Nope.
Some ST202s have a 140bhp engine which is not the same as the 3SGE in yours (these were SS1s in Jap land). Also there was a 1.8. The SS3 may well have beefier brakes than the lower powered models. I was just pointing out that your car is an ST202 :)

The SS2 than was 3SGE powered bit without the BEAMS, these were the Celica GT in the UK.
