I am a MSc graduate, finding it extremely hard to get a job related to my chosen career, so am working as a shop assistant at the moment. I have seem a couple of jobs that would be perfect experience advertised on the WWP, but of course you need to unemployed for them, which is very frustrating. Is there any way around this?

Wtf! That is exactly why those conditions are in place. You want to leave a paid job to go on the dole? Just leave your job and take an unpaid internship on your own back. Don't have the rest of us pay your dole when you are making yourself unavailable for work.
