Harvey Norman (Carrickmines) has the above for €9.
Down from a marked price of 49.99.
Even if it wasn't worth €50 in the first place, €9 is certainly a great price.

    No it's not.

Notice the ''more buying options'' on the right...

Yes. That's a quick response alright. But your link is for an HDMI cable.

€9 is a good price for 24k gold plated DVI-DVI cable in Ireland, especially if you have a store close by to pop into. No waiting for shipment and no delivery charges to pay.

Could you check up Samsung Galaxy S2's for me please.

Just a reminder that unless you equipment also has gold collectors then a gold plated DVI-DVI cable is unnecessary and under some conditions (temperature difference, humidity) increase the noise on the line (decreases the max bandwidth)

On a 1.5m cable unless your running analog rgb over the c pins on the dvi cable its not going to matter if its plated with leprechaun ****e .. DVI uses transition minimized differential signalling which is extremely resistant to analogue noise and distortion.

This has been gone over again and again - having gold plating on a digital cable such as HDMI, DVI, etc. makes no difference whatsoever. It is theoretically impossible for gold plating to make any difference on these connections. If you don't understand why that is then you don't understand the difference between digital and analog.

As far as cables go - buy the cheapest you can find that have a reasonable overall build quality - a cable that length should be easily found for less than 5 Euros.

Jeepers. It's a tough world of bargains out there.
Lets forget the gold plated bit.

Still better than the result on Google search for ireland
