Looking to buy rain gear for cycling. Can anyone recommend some cheap shops that have decent quality stuff?

I usually buy my rain gear at outdoor shops, they tend to have a better selection than specialist cycling shops.

Alot of the time the regular stuff doesn't cover the butt, you'd be suprised the difference it makes this time of year.
Aldi's have just done it so there may be a few bits left, watch out for Lidl's sale.
Chain Reactions on the net is the next cheapest.

TK Maxx also worth a browse, if these's one near you. I've picked up a few odds and ends - my best bargain was a Montane breathable rain jacket, folds down into nothing (tennis ball) - not cycling specific in that it doesn't have an extended back, but good enough for when you're caught out.

Anything thats rain proof tend to be too warm IMO. I just plan to keep warm, and change where I'm going.
