You are allowed a few mistakes with regards to the questions, he'll ask you about 5 on road signs/Markings and 5 on driving situations. You'll only get Blue if you get 4 or more wrong. Otherwise you'll just get a Grade 1 (Green). I wouldn't worry, the questions are very basic.

I think I got 3 wrong in my first and got a blue flag,I couldnt identify what a petestrianised clearway street sign.(ive never saw one of them before)Got shown a cross roads sign asked what I would do if I was aproaching this road, after thinking about it for a bit, road of equal importance etc I said give way to trafiic from my left :D he fliped it over and asked me again  then second guessed myself and changed my answer to aproach with care or something like that :o I got asked can park on a single yelow line,I said you cant, are you sure Yes.

I was a bit nervous so I hessitated and was thinking about my answers, wasnt entirely confident with them, which probbaly dindt put the tester in the best of frame of mind for the main test.

I'd say 99.9% of people know the answers, but nerves and the testing environment get the better of them. Just try and keep the ole head as clear as possible so you can think of your answers clearly and in good time.

If all else fails picture the examiner in their underwear, I was asked does it work and I'll tell you one thing " I hold a full Licence!!" Good luck tomorrow!

Thanks for the links I'm gonna read through them now! Has anyone here done their test in either Rathgar or Churchtown? Any common questions they ask?

    1. Check the handbrake is on, the gears are in neutral, the doors are closed properly, your seat and steering wheel are set correctly, your mirrors are set correctly and you and your passenger have the safety belts on.
    2. You should only use the horn to warn other road users of an on-coming danger or to make them aware of your presence for safety reasons. You should not use a horn in a built up area between 11.30 at night and 7 in the morning, except in an emergency.
    3. This is a yield line. You must give right-of-way to any traffic on the major road ahead.
    4. You should drive as close as you safely can to the right hand side of the one-way street.
    5. People who do not hold a full driving licence for the vehicle they are driving, vehicles incapable of at least 50kmh, cyclists, pedestrians…
    6. Allow a 2 second gap, double this if the road is wet.

Got driving test next week in Tipp Town just wondering type of questions they might ask and the signs thanks

might i suggest that you study the rules of the road and know your stuff as you need to know the entire contents of the rules , as opposed to wanting to know what you might be asked eg , whats the maximum speed allowed for a car that is towing a trailer????

if you know your stuff , it will shine through to the examiner as opposed to learning off lists of questions.
    best of luck
