The Irish Times have just launched their own group buying website...

    http://www.rewardingtimes.ie

    Todays deal is....

Escape from it all and enjoy a luxurious, and unbeatable, overnight package in the 5* ‘Druids Glen Resort’ at just €150 for 2.

This fantastic offer includes a glass of prosecco on arrival, a 3 course dinner for 2 in the Druids Brasserie, full Irish breakfast, and late checkout the next day. This offer is valid at weekends, and includes €25 credit each for a round of golf or for the Elemis spa.

You’ll arrive at the hotel, with its breathtaking setting in the Wicklow mountains, and as you wind down with your glass of prosecco, you’ll be able to plan whether you retreat from the world and relax in the spa and leisure club, or set out for a round of golf in the fresh Wicklow air. Maybe you’ll decide to do both! Either way, you will enjoy the freshest local ingredients in the acclaimed ‘Druids Brasserie’ that evening, and you can relax in the knowledge that you can take your time the next day with lunchtime check-out.

Agreed Basq, its not a great deal to kick start the website.

"Luxurious overnight stay for 2 at the 5* Druids Glen including dinner, breakfast, prosecco on arrival & more! for €150"

Its normally €50pps for B&B so your getting dinner for €25pps .

Looking at the site itself, 2-Night Sleep and Eat - Deluxe Room
from €145.00 that includes breakfast and dinner.

Delighted the world has another groupon these things are saving me a fortune!! I liked citydeals at first but have bought more on living social!!

My mam and I both got one of these deals today from the new Irish times one, I had my wedding here in June and after spending months following there rates I know this is a good offer. On booking.com it was 150 without the extras!!!

And what's wrong with starting with that deal????? Better than constant deals for teeth whitening

Well, its not a deal. The hotel offers €50pps for B&B normally and the €150 is something that the hotel has going for a while now. Any other site has a orginal deal, this is simply readvertising a deal that is currently running. LivingSocial, Citydeal, Groupon or IBood offer a unique daily deal. Thats the difference..

IMO it is a deal, your meal, late check out and spa vouchers are included. As mentioned above I recently got married in this hotel and I along with a lot of my guests watched their rates.

Out of the above mentioned sites I can't say anything about ibood cause I've never heard of it but I don't find their deals unique, I don't think the Irish times one is over the top original either, I just think it's a good deal

you do get some gems every now and again. But usually for something completely unnecessary. I just check dealpage.ie which lists all of them every day and leave it at that.

That dealpage.ie is very good. It is actually almost farcical the amount of group buying sites there are at this stage...

Totally agree, takes forever to trawl through them looking for one decent deal, alot of them are just cr*p, good deals on things you just don't need or want!
