maternity leave question

My company will pay full wages for maternity leave once I'm there 2 years. Does anyone know if this means I must be there 2 years before I get pregnant, or that I can go on ML as soon as I hit the 2 year mark?
I dont want to ask HR in case they think I'm just planning on using them!

Normally it would mean 2 years before you get pregnant but the company hand book should make it more obvious.
