    hi, im currently employed but my hours are less for the next few months, im looking to getting a full-time mon-fri job and keeping my current one, i wonder will that effect my chances at a second job and also will i suffer higher tax for having a second income?

    You won't be penalised for having a second job. You will pay the same amount of tax for earning €500 in two jobs as if you earned €500 in one job. Try an online tax calculator using your total income for both jobs in the box marked "income"

    Depending on your employer, they may not like their staff moonlighting (for example, a garda legally cannot be a bouncer in his spare time). Also, I know a guy who was let go from a permanent job as his part-time bar job interfered with his ability to do his permanent job (he came in tired and often hungover)
