Who was that Andrew Maguire fella with the big bombshell about silver manipulation? :D

Don't believe everything Max Keiser tells you.

If Germany ever officially announced this the euro would freefall, they wouldn't have time to switch back to the Deutsche Mark before the damage would be done.

As shown by the interview with an investor last week, there are a lot of people, Americans especially, with their money bet against the euro and hoping for a big recession.

I wouldn't trust anything these people say, they're trying to build up the hype and pressure in the hope that they can force their dream to come true.

As Soulja Boy quite rightly points out, the Euro would be screwed if the Germans went for a switch. IMO it would actually cause the complete collapse of the union and could lead to civil or even international war in Europe in the medium-term.

Total rubbish. So the euro collapse and Germany or France declares war on who and for what?

Coming out with stuff like that is as bad as those so called investor/traders trying to scare everybody.

Max Keiser is only interested in looking after No.1.......his own agenda.

These type of people take great satisfaction in watching everything come crumbling down, the media are giving them far too much airtime.

Wise up. Don't fall for the propaganda, they're like snakes in the grass right now.

I'd be more of the opinion he doesn't know what he is talking about, but you get the same result at the end of the day.

I said, in the medium term.

If Germany pulled the plug, they would basically fnck up the rest of the eurozone, including France. Such a big middle finger to their EU allies would create a lot of tension and mistrust and IMO would come extremely close to ending the union. A euro collapse, followed by end of the union would mean economic death for a lot of countries.

As we know, disastrous economic conditions are the breeding ground for radical regimes, so in the medium-term the end of the union could lead to civil war in the worst-hit countries like Greece, which in turn can lead to international war.

Worst-case scenario? No doubt. But not unrealistic if Germany were to pull out from the Euro IMO.

Seamus the only people who talk of war are the euro/EU supporters who throw it up because any break up means their luxurious gravy train is finished. It is a scare tactic nothing else. They also claim other silly's like the EU has stopped these same countries going to war with each other as they did before twice in the past 100 years......more like that nucleur weapons and modern warfare would make the 100 million casualties from the last 2 wars look like a sunday picnic has done that and not the EU formation or the euro.
