The French Camp in Disarray?

We know all about Lievremont (barring the tale of his escape from the looney bin), and we know how poorly the French have been playing.

But monsieur Estebanez tweeted this in the last hour, and it portrays a worrying snapshot (from a French perspective) of where the players are at. Their only chance is a mutiny, but that's dependant on the players feeling like it.

First the soccer world cup, now this. The French cracking more and more under pressure?!

Probably talking about himself as he's out due to a ban.

That's precisely what he's on about.

    Boo hoo.

I get the gist of it but for the non Francophones does anyone have a direct translation?

I don't think it's to do with the French cracking under pressure more to do with bad management in both the Soccer and Rugby.

Lievremont I think is talking too much to the press which is making the situation worse. There have been reports of him criticising a player in the press but not to their faces which if true is abysmal really.

    It's such a shame really.

    moral au plus bas..

For me it translates to something like life at rock bottom, that kind of vibe.

"Morale at rock bottom" pretty much covers it.

    "Morale is low"

    Edit: Beat me to it......

i wouldnt read too much into the loss at the weekend the french never had much heart and they dont like to play matches just to go to the motions and they had noting to play for

Estebanez could of course just be referring to himself and how he feels about his ban for the tackle in the Tongan match

He's banned for 3 weeks so his tournament is over.

I think there must be a French mutany for them to stand a chance, and I think the French are most dangerous with a chip on their shoulder, but I think come Saturday afternoon it will all be consequencial as they'll be out.

They'll have guts but no glory I'm afraid.

Rougerie in the french line up for quarter final ? I thought he had dislocated his shoulder or something.

Whyyyy is he sticking with Parra at 10? It makes no sense. It will be their undoing anyhow.

Also, a bit early to be naming the team, no?

I haven't seen his press conferences but I assume Lievremont attends them with two pencils up his nose, underpants on his head and repeating "Wibble"?

He mentioned Domenech in his last one so he's not far off that stage.

I wonder who the FFR would back at this stage if the players were to tell Lievremont to go jump.

The FFR have made that perfectly clear with the naming of the next coach before the tournament even took place.

It's been funny watching Livremont since he took over. It's even funnier now because all the while, at the back of my mind I couldn't help but think 'there must be method to this madness. He must be building towards a WC or something.' I'm still waiting on the method.

that's a shame cos there is a fantastic opportunity to get to the final and
1- we left a lot of great players in France
2- We don't have any sort of game plan
    3- we don't even have a leadership

having said that I wouldn't rule the team out yet, there is a match to be played and they are able to beat any team on this side of the draw.

true, the french squad is arguably the most talented in the WC, but selecting Parra to play 10 v's england is rugby suicide, no disrespect to Parra but how on earth is he expected to play to his undoubted abilities in a WC quarter final against a gigantic english pack.
Very disappointed in Lievremont's carry on as i thought France were well capable of doing a job on NZ in the final, now i cant see them getting past england which is an awful shame given the quality of players available for selection.
