cycling ireland rankings 2011

Anyone know where I can get an updated list of the ranking points, Cycling Ireland website appears to be months behind, how hard can it be to have this updated weekly and made available so people can at least race in the proper category

is that link on the homepage not what your looking for(beside the pic of Sam b?)

They are updated after we receive the comms report from the weekend races so they should be fairly current.

Have heard plenty of people say they are not sure how many points they've got, how can you know if you dont how many points are on offer for stage races, handicap races, time trials etc. I know what I got last year but havent a clue about this year, upgraded in the hope i will get full points but have no notification of getting any

I see the tables have been changed. The new setup looks good. However I'm not sure the figures are correct. My entry looks like it's missing some points I scored at the end of August in Dunlavin (unless I am mistaken as to how the points are added up)

The points that are awarded are all documented in the CI rules, chapter T3/page 24

Thats the link but they are not up to date, up to Fri they hadnt been updated since August 1st, two months of a gap !

The points are in the document "technical regulations" available on the website.

In short

the overall in stage races goes from 10 for first to 1 for teth. The points available per stage are 6 for 1st and going down to 6th. TT's in stage races are 3,2,1. Open TT's I assume is like a RR. In 1 day races its 6 for 1st down. Also, there is no points for category winners so nothing if you are the first unplaced a3 for example.

The points awarded for events is wrong imho. In this day and age we should be giiving points for 1st 20 but you need to be able to film the finish.

They were out of date, but they seem to be up to date now. At least my points are up to date up to + including dunlavin.

Are there CI points overall 1st 2nd 3rd etc for regional road race and TT leagues like Munster, Leinster, Connacht etc cant see anything in the regs

I dont think there are points for the overall leagues but will check. Regional road races should be 6-1 depending on the length

I thought id seen something before about the overall of leagues not the individual races themselves but cant seem to find it now. Just be interested to know - thanks
