I have had a closer look at some websites and given the fitout of the bike, €1250 would be a fairer price.

Still selling the Mavic Ksyrium Equipe 2011 Black, brand new, for €260. No offers.

    Updated photos below.

Bike fully serviced with new cables, brake blocks, Ultegra jockey wheels.

I'll also throw in a brand new set of Vittoria tyres for closest offer to asking

Serious cutbacks forcing a very reluctant sale...

The pictures show the bike with shorter FSA stem (90) and clamp.

I Have the Bonty XXX Lite carbon stem and clamp also, so it can be the buyers choice as to what fits best

Saddle shown is NOT for sale..My cajones wouldn't forgive me!!:)

    ckeego,

Sorry about this, I know you said no offers-but I'm going to make an offer:rolleyes:

€200 for the Ksyriums. Failing that I have a pair of Mavic CXP22s I could offer in part X if that suits? They're A1 but I fancy an upgrade. Let me know either way-we won't fall out over it I'm sure..

We won't fall out for sure!:)

I am toying with the idea of putting a Campag free hub on them or they may be sold with the Madone as part of a package, but please stay in touch and we will sort something!

Basically an enforced clearout unfortunately!!So won't be px ing...
    Minimalist cycling returns!!

OK no probs on the PX but you've actually raised a question-are they Shimano or Compag compatible?

They are Shimano compatible but I believe you can get a Campag freehub for around 30 quid to convert them. The campag ones I have on the other bike are ok (brand new Khamsin G3s but not sure how much a battering they will take over the winter on our lovely roads.

If you want to treat yourself, talk to the Bike Inn in Tallaght village. They pricematched Merlin for me on those Mavics:)

    BB24..
Nice day for it out there..Just turn the wind down for my ride tomorrow!!

If you can wait for a while (may be a week or 2) to see if this sale goes through, I will meet you half way at 230 for the Mavics.

Nice bike, how old is it?

It's just on 3 yrs old. It was a 2007 model that was bought as a "last years model" in 08.

Same frame won a number of TdF's in the mid 2000's and was the top end Madone at the time.

As the ad says, some of the components have been replaced/upgraded and the bike has been very well taken care of, never crashed, dinged etc.

Paintwork is in very good order, just a very few small scratches.

I'm open to sensible offers at this stage!:)

Where are you based? Presumably the original stem was longer than the current one?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,295 ✭✭✭ckeego

I am in Greystones, Co.Wicklow...The original stem was most definitely longer than the current one!!

Me thinks that it is a 120mm.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,295 ✭✭✭ckeego

    Yip...Bonty XXX Lite carbon 120mm.

No ta it's Ksyriums I'm after

And I'd have got them too if it hadn't been for those pesky meddling bidders.

I'll just take a seat and watch the most convaluted transaction ever unfold:)

    GLWS

    This is true!!:D

I'm just worried that when I look at what's left that it's not a Shim drive, a Campy cassette a wheel that is only Shim compatible and a 26 bar with an OS stem!!! With a broken frame!!

That would be a difficult build!

2012 wheelsets coming out, so you should be able to get a deal. As I said, Bike Inn in Tallaght will price match for you

When you say you'll just take a seat, do you want the seatpost as well??:D:D
