Poll: New O2 plans and iPhone 5

I've been an O2 customer for many years but am disgusted at their new smartphone plans which you have to sign up to if you want to upgrade. Funny how they have never forced you to change to a more competitive plan! Anyway I'm going to be checking out coverage with a 3 prepay SIM soon with a view to leaving O2. Unfortunately as I'm still in contract with O2 I'll have to wait until at least January for my iPhone 5 (assuming it's announced tomorrow).

I only hope all the other providers don't follow O2's lead.

Will you stay with O2 when upgrading to iPhone 5? 26 votes

Just buy the phone outright from Apple and be done with it. No contracts!

Tempting Vinny but a lot of money upfront! Plus family members have come to expect my cast off iPhones for free!

Ye same here, the family like getting my old phones , which are still pretty good , my father wants my HTC Desire when i get the new iPhone, Should be charging for that :pac:.

Anyways i think Vodafone and O2 are incradebly over priced. Lets hope meteor or even 3 get it on launch day.

I reckon 3 will be getting it alright, whatever "it" is, Check out their site, their long running "iPhone for free with 40€ contract", under it it says, "last day of offer", coincidence? I think not..
