Wifi for my hard drive?

    Hey everyone,

I have a hard drive and I connect it to my T.V and watch vids that I have downloaded. My buddy got a more recent hard drive which he too connects to the T.V and he is able to stream vids from the net to his T.V using wifi.

Is it possible to now convert my hard drive to pick up wifi and be able to watch live T.V from the net?

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Will.

    Hey,

Alrite, you can't get an adapter or some sort?

    Cheers.

A lot of wireless access points have USB ports in them that can be used to access a USB drive over the network. I don't know if your particular TV will be able to browse the files via wireless or not, but it is an option.

They're usually not the cheaper ones though, so might be a bit pricey for what you want to do.
