    Hi All,

Taking the easy route here and looking for some female advice. My gf's birthday is coming up and I'm looking to buy her a pair of "shoots" ..I'm not even sure I have the expression right but you know the ones that are ankle boot style. I think they're simply hot on a girl and will look great on her. Anyway, was wondering if any of you out there could post a link/image if you have purchased same or else know where I'd get a good range/deal.

    Thanks in advance

I'd try House of Fraser in Dundrum if you are in Dublin, they have the biggest selection of branded shoes that are still affordable; Aldo should have them as well. Haven't seen many around this season tho

OP - you need to give us some indication of how much money you're willing to spend. Are we talking cheap like New Look, middle-range like House of Fraser or high-end like BT?

Thanks All. Dudara, I have a "main" present already bought so this is just an additional extra so cost-wise Lil Miss Vodka was on the money with her suggestion. New Look have about 3 pairs that have caught my eye so I'll prob go for that unless I hear otherwise.

ASOS.com have lots of shoe boots: http://www.asos.com/Women/Shoes/Cat/pgecategory.aspx?cid=4172#state=Rf900%3D1561&parentID=Rf900&pge=0&pgeSize=20&sort=-1

I've bought clothes from them before and they're very reliable. Free shipping and the stuff is good quality too.

I bought these in New Look for €32 and love them to bits, but seems they're gone off the website now so may not be in the shop anymore! Think they had them in grey too though!

Job done folks, thanks to everyone for your suggestions. I went with something similar to Annagram85's pic.... except the zip is on the heel and they were well received :). I'm fighting the regret feeling now though since the ones with the buckle seemed to top the poll. There's always Christmas :D
