    Anyone use the GPS car tracker device from transpoco.ie?

    Wondering if it works well or got any feedback on it?

    Looks very similar in style, function and pricing model to Fleetmatics.

    Transpoco seem to include a hardware element which you may not require with Fleetmatics if you have a set of appropriate smartphones.

    The return on investment with the technology these solutions utilize is fantastic and I would describe it as a must have for anyone is the distribution and logistics industry.

    I am thinking of it from a security point of view.

    If my car is stolen then it would be great to be able to track it. Its as much about catching the thieving so-and-so's as getting the car back.

    Look for a simpler solution. This isn't really geared towards the single vehicle consumer. It's about fleet management and achieving cost efficiencies.
    A typical system costs €89 euro per vehicle for installation and monthly fees of €30 euro per vehicle

    Thanks, I have been looking and there isn't a lot out there.

    Main BMW dealer quited be €1k for install and €300 per year for software tracking. Don't think so! :mad:
