Guys ultra quick (I hope) question… What’s the state of play in relation to import duty, VAT and customs for bringing goods into Ireland? Specifically a piece of gym equipment? I know there’s import duty and VAT chargeable, is there customs as well? And if so, what is the rate? Thanks :)

The VAT rate is 21% at the point of entry. You may be lucky and the goods will get through without being stopped.
