UPC cancelation HELP!

well Just recieved a text from upc saying that i never canceled my account from the last college year and they are billing me for this month and when i rang up to cancel the guy said ill have to pay next month anyway.What happens if i just dont pay them? i hav not been using the service and i am not even living in the same…
