Thought this looked like a nice deal, given how expensive crepes are in town these days. Handy location too.

So 2 cups of coffee and two very thin pancakes for 9 quid is a bargain ???? Honestly, I wouldn't be impressed if it was half the price.

IMO a cuppa is worth no more than about €2 tops and a pretentious pancake with a stupid name, neahh I'd give a quid for if I had to. So for me, the high end of the scale on this order would cost €6 and at that I'd feel ripped off.

EDIT: I do realise that anything is worth whatever people are willing to pay for it and stress that this post is just my opinion. Not trying to ridicule here.

You realise some of the things you can get in those pretentious pancakes include a fried breakfast right? ;) They're fairly filling though I'd prefer if they did buckwheat galettes tbh.

As far as coffee goes, halfmoon also does refills for €1 so they're surprisingly good value if you plan to drink more than one coffee in a sitting. Especially since they use Illy and most of their staff know how to make decent espresso coffees.

Well ya know, I have a kitchen and a table. So I prefer to make my own breakfast. Real simple - Cornflakes, Toast, Coffee. Total cost - about €0.60c. I choose to make the time to do that. But yeah god bless modern urban living....It's so sophisticated and intelligent.

Let me apologise in advance for thread spoiling and my facetiousness.

Do you know these bargains aren't compulsory? If you don't like crepes, you don't have to have one.

Completely doubt if the full Irish crepe is included in this deal.

If it is I'll eat it.

If you say "frenchy breakfast and a coffee for one, for just 4.50 euro"
    It sounds much better.

Nobody will spend 9 euro on a breakfast, even though it is really breakfast for two people.

It's not just a breakfast item, in fact any time I've gone there has been for lunch or late in the evenng, they have a big range of savoury crepes and to get extra toppings is fairly cheap, you probably could have gotten them free with the voucher.

as los said they are great with the extras...it's like 20 cent for an egg, similar for mushrooms etc...you can add a lot for cheap

    Hi Banchang and everyone else,

Lisa here from HalfMoon, thanks so much for all the nice comments. Just to let you know that the offer was for ANY crepe and ANY hot drink. So the full Irish Breakfast was included in the offer and yes we made loads of Irish crepes and Chocolate and Strawberry crepes and in return we had a lot of very very happy customers........ The offer went so well we will probably do another again in the future so keep an eye out
