I was on a U.K. website wanting to purchase something but they do not ship to Ireland which is really annoying! Does anybody know if there is a company that will buy the product for you and then ship it to you?

I do know of one company that does this in the U.S. called haveitposted.com but the website is "under construction" at the minute.

I would email the company first if you have not already done so. Ask nicely for the cheapest possible postage to Ireland, once I got even cheaper postage than UK postage from an ebay seller as he sent here economy and wanted first class within the UK. I mention that I understand it will take a bit longer and will not complain (or leave negative feedback in the case of ebay). I also offer to cover any increase in administration costs (if they quote too high you can just say no)

9/10 companies oblige in my experience.

I think smaller companies are more likely to do it since they might care more about the company making a profit/sale, and not have loads of red tape to change procedures.

Also what is the item? somebody might know of another site.

i often source parts and tool's on UK websites but no way will they deliver to ireland, others will charge five times the cost of postage just to get rid off you.

then other times companys who do not offer irish shipping when contacted they will, but i can not understand this attitude with many uk companys threating ireland as some planet from outer space that no one should deal with

I came across with this site recently.

I have nothing to do with this site though.

I just checked this site out and it is exactly what I was looking for thank you very much.

Reiger: It is really annoying they won't ship to Ireland or give a ridiculous quote to do so it's not like we live in the Amazon or something!
