    Really good show imo...

    Results from Wrestlezone
    Opening

WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view comes live from the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, La. with Michael Cole appearing and introducing the show while also promoting the live Twitter page. Jim Ross and Booker T join Michael Cole on commentary. Ross pipes in with a comment about there being "no winners in Hell in a Cell, only survivors.". Michael Cole then explains Jerry Lawler's absense is due to recovering from the Mark Henry attack as the show goes underway.

    Pre-Match

The first match is set to begin when Christian comes to the ring. The cameras shoot to the crowd where R-Truth and The Miz are shown walking through with tickets in their hands. John Laurinaitis makes an appearance with the security team to confront Miz and R-Truth. With a slight arguement from the duo, they are escorted out as as a slight "let them stay" chant breaks out in the crowd. Sheamus is then introduced for the first match of the night.

    Christian vs. Sheamus

Out first to the ring is Sheamus as his music sounds in the New Orleans Arena and Sheamus makes his way down the ramp and into the ring with a glare on his face. Next out is Christian who walks out to the top of the ramp with a cocky look on his face. He makes his way down the ramp and into the ring where he's face to face with Sheamus. The match is formally announced as the bell rings and the match begins. A lot of back and forth early in the match with Sheamus trying to take dominance in the match. Christian attempts to jump over the top rope and throw an uppercut on Sheamus, who is able to block the move and once again take the upper hand. Christian tries once again to make a comeback by pushing Sheamus off the top rope during Sheamus's attempt at a high flying move. Both continue to trade offense. Sheamus is able to avoid Christian's finisher and hit a top rope shoulder block. Christian blocks an attempt at a Brogue Kick by Sheamus. Sheamus attempts his Brogue Kick once again, this time getting it successfully for a clean pin on Christian.

    Winner: Sheamus

    Backstage

Cameras go backstage where Mark Henry is shown being interviewed by Matt Striker. Henry says that Randy Orton is going to, "join the Hall of Pain". The next match is introduced.

    Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara

The original Sin Cara makes his way out to the ring first as his music sounds in the arena. The dark Sin Cara comes out next with no cheers whatsoever from the audience. The match is formally announced as the bell rings and the match begins. Michael Cole announces that they will call the second (darker Sin Cara) "Sin Cara 2". Booker T makes a confusing comment saying that he feels that Sin Cara 2 is the original Sin Cara as they pan back to the match. Sin Cara 1 began clapping to get the crowd to clap along momentarily beginning the match. Sin Cara 1 performed a hot spot followed by a flip over the top rope, causing a cheer in the crowd. Sin Cara 2 counters with a boot to the face. The crowd still seems confused as they don't know who or what to cheer for. Booker T is heard saying "whoa" a lot with not much reaction from the crowd. The crowd begins a chant of "boring" and some guy continued to yell "boring". Sin Cara 1 gets a cross body block on Sin Cara 2 off the top rope onto the floor. They make their way back to the center of the ring where Sin Cara 1 is able to duck out of an attempted powerbomb and countered by rolling over until he got Sin Cara 2 in a roll up for the pin and win.

    Original Sin Cara

    Backstage

C.M. Punk ignores David Otunga, who was in lawyer mode, and his attempt to talk by saying he hated lawyers. The next match is announced.

WWE Tag Title Match- Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger (w/ Vickie Guerrero)

Each of the men make their way to the ring as their music blares through the speakers in the arena as they make their way down the ramp and into the ring one by one. Jack Swagger being accompanied by Vickie Guerrero as he makes his way into the ring. The match is formally announced as a WWE Tag Titles match as the bell rings and the match begins. Evan Bourne and Dolph Ziggler are the first two men in the ring. Bourne hits a knee press off the ropes onto Ziggler for a near fall, Ziggler kicks out just in time. Bourne gets a standing moonsault directly after for another near fall, once again Ziggler kicks out before the three count. Lots of solid action in the back and forth between these two fighters. Ziggler catches Bourne with a clothesline which knocks both men to the mat. Swagger makes his way into the ring and set up for a powerbomb off the ropes, luckily Evan Bourne is able to counter with a huracanrana and the pin and win while Kofi Kingston had pulled Dolph Ziggler out of the ring. Vickie is shown yelling at Jack Swagger as they are leaving.

    Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston

    In Ring

An ad is aired for Triple H's upcoming "Inside Out" as the Hell in a Cell structure is lowered around the ring in anticipation of the upcoming match. A video is then shown for the World Heavyweight Championship match.

World Heavyweight Championship Match- Mark Henry vs. Randy Orton

Mark Henry makes his way to the ring first as his music blared in the speakers throughout the arena. Out next was Randy Orton with mixed emotion from the crowd as he made his way down the ramp and into the ring. The match was formally announced as the bell rang and the match began. The match quickly moved to ringside early on in the match. Orton is able to get Henry on the floor quickly. Henry stammers back to his feet and takes control of the offense, eventually slamming Orton's head into the cage. Henry picks Orton up onto his shoulders and hits his head on the cage again. Henry says "Welcome to my hell". Orton gets a burst of energy and comes back at Henry with a DDT on the ring steps and takes advantage, dominating the match. Orton hits an RKO with Henry kicking out just in time, frustrating the crowd. Orton set up for a punt kick that was quickly countered by Henry who stands up and latches on to Orton and got him with the World's Strongest Slam for the pin and win.

    Winner: Mark Henry

    After the Match

As the match ends, the cell begins to be lifted back to the ceiling as Mark Henry makes his way out of the ring to leave. Henry begins to head out, only to turn around and grab Orton and hit him with another World's Strongest Slam. Henry continues his abuse on an already injured Orton by wrapping Orton's leg inside a chair and (from the second rope) executed a Vader Bomb that was not felt by Orton who moved his leg just in time. Orton then retaliated by picking up the chair and began to hit Mark Henry several times. Henry is able to make his way out of the ring, but Orton follows Henry up the ramp and continued with the chairshots even as the neared the backstage area. Henry gets a nice kick on Orton and then quickly makes his way backstage.

    Backstage

Alberto Del Rio is shown being interviewed by Josh Matthews in the backstage area. Del Rio comments that he shouldn't be in the match because he's, "not a criminal and not an animal". Del Rio continues on talking about what an animal does when trapped and promises to leave with the WWE Championship title.

    Ringside

With the Intercontinental Title in toe, Cody Rhodes makes his way to ringside wearing a nice suit. He has a mic in his hand as he announces it's not even Halloween yet and he wouldn't let most of the fans on his street. He continues that the fans who refused his paper bags should be euthanized like an animal. Rhodes puts the Intercontinental Title into a paper bag. One of the lackies with Rhodes hands him a black velvet bag that Rhodes procedes to pull a white Intercontinental Title belt out of. He tells the crowd that it is the classic Intercontinental Title belt. He continues by saying the title had been held by Ricky Steamboat, Bret Hart, Randy Savage, and Steve Austin. He announced he would wear it in honor of the past winners though he would be wearing it with more pride and dignity than any of the former winners did. John Laurinaitis interrupts Rhodes rant about defending the belt apologizing for the interruption and listing his credentials. Laurinaitis explained that Triple H was ordering Rhodes to defend the Intercontinental Title right then and there.

Intercontinental Title Match- Cody Rhodes vs. John Morrison

John Morrison and Cody Rhodes makes their way down the ramp and into the ring one by one as their music blares in the arena. Rhodes is shown wearing his street clothes as the match had just been announced. The match is formally introduced as the bell rings and the match begins. Morrison took the early lead. Rhodes grabbed the post at ringside in a sad humerous attempt to get himself counted out, however Morrison was able to get him back inside the ring for more punishment. Morrison continued to dominate the entire match until he missed a Chuck Kick where Rhodes was able to retaliate and roll Morrison up for the three count.

    Winner: Cody Rhodes

    Backstage

As the cameras shoot to backstage, Triple H is shown talking on the phone and saying he's had it with somebody as Laurinaitis walks into the room. Triple H began complaining about the booking of the matches in which Laurinaitis told Triple H that The Miz and R-Truth were beating up the talent. Triple H and Laurinaitis make their way into another room quickly where Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne are shown as they have been attacked. Triple H yelled at Laurinaitis for not calling the authorities as he was told to earlier.

WWE Divas Championship Match- Kelly Kelly (w/ Eve) vs. Beth Phoenix (w/ Natalya)

Kelly Kelly makes her way to the ring first with accompanied by Eve as her music plays in the arena. Quickly followed by Beth Phoenix who has Natalya with her as they make their way down the ramp and into the ring. The match is formally announced as the bell rings and the match begins. Beth Phoenix took charge early in the match but is finally countered by Kelly Kelly who retaliated with a huracanrana after a failed powerbomb attempt. Kelly hit her handspring elbow in the corner on Beth. Beth retaliated by getting Kelly Kelly in a submission hold. Natalya grabs a mic and begins to mock Kelly Kelly. Kelly Kelly makes her way out of the hold, but Natalya is waiting there and slammed it over her head. Beth then hit the Glam Slam for the three count and win.

    Winner: Beth Phoenix (w/ Natalya)

WWE Championship Match- John Cena vs. C.M. Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio is the first out to the ring as Ricardo Rodriguez introduced him, with his music blaring in the New Orleans Arena speakers. Out next is C.M. Punk who yelled "It's Clobberin' Time!" as he entered the ring. Finally John Cena's music sounded and the crowd had mixed emotions as Cena made his way down the ramp and into the ring. The match was formally announced and the match began. C.M. Punk took a hit at ringside as Del Rio and Cena took the match back into the ring. A lot of back and forth between the two as Punk made his way back into the ring with a few cuts on his back. Cena slammed Punk into the cage from the ring apron causing Punk to smash his face into the cage. With lots of intensity Cena and Del Rio go at it once again. Punk is shown still selling it at ringside as Del Rio attempts to apply the Cross Arm Breaker on Cena. C.M. Punk comes out of nowhere and flipped over the top rope onto both men at once. They continue their back and forth. At one point Cena is shown going for the Five Moves of Doom and did his "you can't see me" act on Punk who countered by kicking Cena in the head as he went to finish the move. Later Del Rio is shown throwing C.M. Punk through a table onto the floor. Cena was able to get Del Rio locked up in a STF. The cameras show Ricardo Rodriguez at ringside where he attacked the ref with a pipe. He quickly grabbed the key and unlocked the door and opened it. Ricardo tried to hit Cena with the pipe, however Cena was able to counter and hit him with an Attitude Adjustment on the floor. Del Rio grabs the pipe and hits Cena with it. Cena ends up being on the outside of the Hell in a Cell cage. Del Rio closed the door and locked it, throwing the key underneath the ring. Punk turned his attention to Del Rio back in the ring and gets several good kicks in. He follows up with a bulldog and a springboard clothesline for a good near fall. Cena is shown going through Ricardo's clothes looking for a key to make his way back into the match. Cena then tries shaking the cage and forcing his way in to no avail. Del Rio is shown inside the ring picking up the pipe once again, this time attacking C.M. Punk with it, knocking him to the mat. Del Rio goes for the pin and gets the three count, winning the WWE Championship title.

    Winner: Alberto Del Rio

    After the Match

As the Cell is being raised following Del Rio's win, Cena slides under and goes to attack Del Rio. The Miz and R-Truth quickly show up in black hoodies and begin to beat on Cena, Del Rio, and Punk. The Cell is once again lowered as Laurinaitis makes his way out to speak with someone on the production team. Triple H and some others make their way out of the locker room and attempt to get in the Cell to no avail. The beating continues until someone comes down with some bolt cutters and the cage is opened. Two police officers entered the ring and handcuffed both The Miz and R-Truth. As they are being led away from the ring by the officers, Triple H attacks them both with punches as Laurinatis attempts to break it up. Triple H is stopped by two of the security gaurds while the fans still chanted and cheered for Triple H as the show ended.

I absolutly adored the ending with Cena being locked out of the cage. Really original ending to a HIAC match. The ensuing beat down by Miz and Truth, visually, was awesome as well, and for a show with two weeks build, this did a great job at continuing some stories.

Yeah I enjoyed all of it. Had an old school feel to it with the carnage at the end and JR screaming! Raw tonight should be good with the heave against Triple H etc

Great PPV. I loved the ending ! anything with anarcy in the WWE . Locking Cena outta the cage was just genius by Del Rio!
The divas match was good cause yenno ....kelly kelly lost.
IC classic white leather title :D
Raw should be good , I can kind of see a mutany angle with Laurinaitis and a few other "future endevours" against HHH. should be entertaining!
Survivor Series could be Team WWE against Team Laurinaitis for control of the WWE or somthing, they love them matches .

Yea was really surprised about the ppv all the matches got the right amount of time . The only thing about the ME is when Cena is locked out he doesnt seem that bothered surely when he seen Del Rio hit Punk with the pipe he would have been trying take down the door but he just stood there and watched

Was glad that the Sin Caras put their differences aside and decided to have a choreographed exhibition of moves.

This is how it is done lads:

I hope they don't overuse this arresting thing I remember when I started watching wrestling Austin was arrested about 27 times yet they weren't there when he had a gun pointing at vince or when Taker was about to embalm him. Anyhow I can see foley being brought into this by Truth & Miz cause HHH "fired" him a good few times.

Verry Verry good PPV! good storytelling - well executed matches - genuinely entertaining!

Johnny Ace to get "future endevoured" on raw this evening me thinks!!

really looking forward to raw tonight, leading to SS, last night set up some interesting scenario's, i'll put my idea into a spoiler just in case.
maybe its the start of the return of vinny mac, with laurinitus his man on the inside pulling the strings, foley comes back as the disgruntled Raw GM who was hired by vince and cast aside by HHH, but never fired, he could hire back Miz and R-Truth which leads tripper to ask The Rock to help team wwe against vince and the boys who feel shafted, but Rock screws him and costs Cena the match which leads him to try play the bad guy at mania against Cena

i dont think so, i taught they were advertised for the same team

Yeah, the whole SS thing is they are on the same team. "Never before. Never again".

I really enjoyed this ppv but the fact security is so lax is just doing my head in.

1.The miz and truth get escorted out of the seating area and pressumably kicked out.
2.The sneak back in and assault the tag people in the blue, once again escorted out.
3.They get back into the cell and seriously attack everyone else in there and are finally arrested.Because I'm sure the security in wwe is that crap.

I loved the ending though I got ridiculously excited and I loved when hhh went mental.

And mark henry is growing on me even if his piggy eyes do freak me out.

And its about time Beth got the title over Kelly Kelly, the girl is clearly a babe but she looks like shes as thick as a plank.

To be fair if that does happen
and they try to get the Rock heel against Cena for Mania.. It wont change anything, No one over the age of 18 (which is over 70% of WWE viewers?) would in there right mind back Cena over The Rock

I was hoping Punk would get the title again because lets face it what started as his storyline now seems all about a conspiracy against HHH

I think they're keeping the title off him so he can have the Kings of Wrestling, and possibly Colt Cabana team up with him at Survivor Series.
I'd say they'll have him win the Rumble to set up a title match for him at Mania

Nothing mind-blowing but everything was above average, which made for a very solid PPV.I enjoyed the show-long storyline/continuation of anti-COO and Truth/Miz. The only thing that died a death was Sin Cara vs Twin Cara. Holy God, you could hear a pin drop.

Christian is just an incredibly smooth worker, really bringing Shambo to possibly his best ppv match. Lots of back and forth.

Sin vs Twin was desperate to watch. I'm very disappointed in the build, and how actually Sin Cara as a character is nowhere near strong/solidified enough to carry such a feud. It wasn't bad, per se, but the crowd really didn't care. They could've done duelling canadian destroyers and 2 seconds later the crowd would've been back sitting on their hands, threatening to chant boring.

Air Boom vs Swaggler was also above average, nothing brilliant but very solid. Vicki looks like she's lost even more weight, her legs are very lean now. (not 'diva' lean of course). This odd-couple heel-heel schtick with Ziggler/Swagger can't end well. Both are better served in the mid-card division imo.

Orton brings Henry to another respectable match, although not as engaging as 2 weeks ago; still very solid. The (basically) hardcore rules really protects henry. And the right finish as well. Really could've used some blood though but it worked well enough without.

Cody Rhodes is great. Woah, oldschool crowd on hand, loved the "Warrior"-inspired new IC belt, got babyface pops for listing off veteran IC champs. (btw Steamboat's IC title run sucked - he lost it at the earliest convenience to Honky because he wanted to be there for his newborn son). Man, I hope they keep the IC belt on Cody for a while, bring back some honor to that title. Really enjoying him as champion. Oh, the match was decent too. Weird him wrestling in a suit!

The women made a decent attempt at putting on a compelling match; the crowd were basically disinterested though (which happens when you book dominant heels to job repeatedly right off the bat) and got 10% of the pop she would've two weeks ago in Buffalo. Again, probably KK's best match. They tried hard, although awkward, no big botches, kudos.

    Main Event Time

Honestly, didn't care that much about it. Punk feels like a 3rd wheel in a mediocre feud. I didn't really get interested until Del Rio locked Cena out - which was a brilliant storyline idea; as was the rookie HIAC guy getting Steiner's pipe and using it to win. Very happy for Del Rio. It's a shame his promos recently (and on the PPV) were just, just awful. There's no fire in the guy at all. Just rethreading worn-out buzz-words.

Post-match was a lot of fun as well, happy to see a big storyline go through the PPV and culminate at the end of the night. I loved the shot of Miz/Truth surrendering immediately. This PPV, which was a very transitional show (ie 2 weeks after the last, 3 weeks before the next) needed something big like this. So good job!

Overall, an extremely solid PPV top to bottom. Nothing stellar, but everything is good to very good.

    7/10 for me.

Not a bad match on the card, but no great matches either,Christian v Sheamus was the best match on the show imo and was very good.

Mistico vs Hunico was decent, with only one or two botches.

Henry v Orton was decent, and I'm delighted they are still booking Henry so strongly, tag match was average enough,Cody v Jomo was okay and the diva's match was surprisingly watchable.

Main event was a bit meh but had the right result, and I was happy that we weren't subjected to Super Cena ripping the cage door open and beating Del Rio again which I feared was about to happen once Cena got locked out.Should be interesting to see the aftermath of Miz/Truth/Funkhouser angle tonight on Raw.

I thought the ending was brilliant. Fantastic. Commentary team did a great job building up what happened.

The highlight of the night for me was Cody Rhodes bringing back the old IC title!...such a cool belt, especially in that ultimate warrior white!, ( HBK may have had it white too at one stage)...i think we should be expecting a Cody face turn soon. Go Cody I really feel he is future main event material.

also, Air boom V Swagger/Ziggler... whaT a classic tag match! Loved every minute of it It was by the far the most entertaining wrestling of the night.Should be interesting to see where the Swagger/Ziggler storyline will go from here though lets hope they don't rush it,they are a great team to watch.
Loving this resurgence of the tag team division. I'm sure we're in for some great tag team action in the future.

The ending was great and really made an otherwise mediocre PPV.. always feels good to have a good enough reason to stay up and watch raw!.

there needs to be enough teams for no 1 contenders matches before I'd say the tag division is well and truly back

Decent PPV. Nothing great but good nonetheless and a very good ending. It was probably always going to be that way with just 2 weeks build. It was sort of similar to what a very good Saturday Night Main Event was when they started doing them again a few years ago.

    The bad points:
Henry still bores the bejesus out of me.
Sin Cara Squared was very, very dull. Wrestling lucha-style in WWE pace is always going to look a bit meh.

    The good points:
    A good cliff hanger ending.
    A proper IC Title belt.
    Good tag team match.
Sheamus being booked very well, getting over as a face big time.

I enjoyed it, first time in a while it seems the WWE are going to think long term about certain belts. Henry and Cody both seem in good positions to hang on to their belts for a while tho I suspect Cody to drop his so he can start a proper feud with Orton soon. From the Vengeance trailer during HIAC we can assume Big Show and maybe Kane are going to come back into things. This frees up Orton to have some fun with Cody and keep him off the belt for a while. Would now love to see Sheamus get a push for it too, proved again he can mix it up with the best with Christian and has got over with the crowd in recent weeks too so surely a title can't be far away.
