Wife has a 01 CLK200. The BAS light is illuminated on the dash and the rear brake lights arn't working. Brought it to a garage on Friday last and they replaced the front pads and sensors. They said it was a problem with a faulty brake switch.

Does anyone have any experience with this problem/fault or opinions.
